Summer Camp East will give us a 10-day experience of building a sustainable, violence-free culture through exploring intimacy, personal growth, transparency, radical honesty, equality, compassion, sexual freedom, and the power of community. We will camp in a lovely wooded community setting with creek swimming just north of Hancock, MD; the site is approximately two hours drive from the Washington, DC metro area.
Come experience 14 days of camping, connecting, and community in our brand new location in a lovely wooded setting in Oregon. We will feature a wide array of experiential workshops that will encourage you to learn, grow, and connect. And remember, this year we will be celebrating our tenth adventure in creating summer camp on the West coast!

The program will include Forum (led by Teryani Riggs), men's and women's groups, celebration and dance, and of course plenty of experiential workshops on personal growth, honest communication, relationship skills, and social change, including a day of sacred touch with Madrone.
The program includes presentations such as Nonviolent Communication™ with Alan Seid, Loraine Hutchins, Ph.D., Permaculture with Rober Silber, Forum expert Rotraud Rospert, Playback Theatre, The Human Awareness Institute (HAI), special guest speakers, the Network for a New Culture Team, and more.

The cost is sliding scale $545-$895. Work exchange positions are available; please contact us if you have special circumstances. We are committed to making Camp financially accessible.
The cost is sliding scale $595-$995 (or $475-$750 for just one week). See registration form for details.

Summer Camp Mission Statement

NFNC consists of individuals and groups dedicated to exploring and building new paradigms for relationship with self, others, community, the Earth, and Spirit.  SC'04 is experiential by nature and provides a safe, supportive environment in which to learn and try out new ways of thinking and living with others - and bringing that growth back out to every day life.  Practicing transparency with ourselves and others is one of the main tools we emphasize as we do our work.
