The New Culture Intensive will feature a wide array of experiential workshops on personal growth, communication, relationship skills, and social change. We will camp in a lovely wooded community setting with creek swimming just north of Hancock, MD; the site is approximately two hours drive from the Washington, DC metro area.
Come experience 12 days of camping, connecting, and community in a lovely wooded setting in Oregon. We will feature a wide array of experiential workshops that will encourage you to learn, grow, and connect.

The program includes a keynote by author Diana Christian, Editor of Communities Magazine; a cooperative challenge playshop with Teryani Riggs; HAI intimacy exercises with Ben Farris; Nonviolent Communication™ with Gail Taylor; exploring our erotic edges; learning to create relationships without drama; fun and games, puppy piles, river swims, and an ongoing ZEGG-style Forum. We will also have dances and celebrations; men's and women's groups; and plenty of time for less formal connections.
The program is under development but will include ZEGG-style Forum, men's and women's groups, celebration and dance, and of course plenty of experiential workshops on personal growth, honest communication, relationship skills, and social change. Check back in early 2006 for more information about featured speakers and topics to be presented.

The cost for registrations by June 1st is sliding scale $495-$895, and then $545-$895 until June 15th. This includes all meals, events, and camping fees.
The cost will be posted here when it is set, but you can expect our traditional low fees compared to similar programs offered elsewhere.

Summer Camp Mission Statement

NFNC consists of individuals and groups dedicated to exploring and building new paradigms for relationship with self, others, community, the Earth, and Spirit.  SC'06 is experiential by nature and provides a safe, supportive environment in which to learn and try out new ways of thinking and living with others - and bringing that growth back out to every day life.  Practicing transparency with ourselves and others is one of the main tools we emphasize as we do our work.
