Mission Statement

Summer Camp is co-creating the transformation of our Culture into Universal Love in the deepest sense. By Universal Love we mean deep intimacy, transparency, honesty, spirituality, genuine equality, compassion, and sexual freedom all through the context of community.

Our 2022 Theme

There Is a Crack in Everything...

"There is a crack, a crack in everything...
That's how the light gets in."
--Leonard Cohen

Our collective journey through the pandemic has been a sea change that has brought about huge cultural, social, and political divisions. Long-buried polarities have been revealed both in our own conscious intentional communities and on a far greater global scale. Isolation and disconnection have wrought many dark thoughts and traumatic moments for us, both individually and collectively.

And thus, Leonard Cohen's prophetic words have deep relevance to our times. We have witnessed such painful cracks in everything...that have also let in light that plainly shows wounds we've needed to heal for many years before a virus swept the globe. These cracks are also openings...opportunities for us to channel the precious light that's been let in to reconnect and heal together.

After three long years, we can finally gather. Our intention for this camp is to hold space and provide tools and support for our community to create bridges to reconnection and healing. The light is here now, flowing through thousands of cracks all around us. Let us reunite and bathe in that light together.

About COVID and Camp

We're monitoring the global COVID-19 situation and will update and finalize our protocols 6-8 weeks before camp based on needs and conditions at that time. Given what we know now, and with the understanding that conditions may change, we're moving forward with the following protocols.

Everyone coming to camp is asked to be in relative isolation for four days (96 hours) before arrival. Relative isolation means that you keep a tight “bubble”, stay away from large groups, and wear masks indoors when in public indoor places such as stores. All campers will be asked to take a rapid antigen test when they arrive at camp, and again 24-48 hours later.

As the situation evolves we may also decide to ask that campers provide proof of a negative PCR  test result within the 4 days prior to camp, or documentation showing you’ve recovered from Covid within the 3 months prior to camp.

To participate in camp this year means to trust one another to follow the protocols so we can all relax and sink into camp together. These are the consent boundaries that will allow us to dive deeply into an intimate community experience.

If you intend to travel to camp by plane, train, or bus, please plan for this isolation after you travel.
