Children's and Teens' Programs

Jenny Newell is organizing the children's program for Summer Camp 98. Drawing from myth, nature, music, and celebration art we will weave a week of fun and exploration while connecting to ourselves and each other. Activities will include puppet making, story games, camp crafts, council of all beings, and mandalas.

A little about me: I'm almost 22, a senior at the University of California in Santa Cruz. I'm majoring in Psychology and loving it. I'm an artist and an outdoors lover. I have a horse, dogs, and cats. I built my own house on my parent's land. You may have seen the book I wrote when I was eleven (Inner Life of a Child), but now I am working on my second book. The second book focuses on the transformation between childhood and adulthood. It will honor the teen years. Based on all I have learned, it will be an alternative way to be a teen. I love my life, my family and my friends all over the world.
