We're pleased to inform you that you're admitted to Summer Camp West 2023! We have an exciting and wonder-filled event planned.<br>
<br>
Included here is some of the information you need to begin planning. We'll follow up with more details regarding what to expect, how you can integrate with ease and joy, and some FAQs.<br>
<br>
<strong>Cancellations</strong><br>
If you're unable to attend for any reason, please write to <a href="mailto:registrar@nfnc.org" target="_blank">registrar@nfnc.org</a> immediately, so that we can offer your spot to another camper.<br>
<br>
<strong>Payment</strong><br>
June 14 is the deadline to pay in full or arrange a payment plan. You will receive an email from us in the next few days.<br>
<br>
<strong>Scholarships</strong><br>
If you need to pay a reduced amount and haven't yet emailed your request to <a href="mailto:scholarship@nfnc.org" target="_blank">scholarship@nfnc.org</a>, please do so ASAP. To receive a scholarship or work-trade arrangement, you need to email us, even if you made an explicit request in your application. If you've already contacted the scholarship team, you can expect a response soon. <br>
<br>
<strong>Camp Dates and Location</strong><br>
Summer Camp will be held from June 28 through July 7, in a forested area of Southern Oregon. A later email will provide the exact location and directions.<br>
<br>
<strong>Getting Here</strong><br>
Our goal is for you to get to camp in plenty of time and with as little stress as possible. We all do our best to help each other, and this is a good first step of co-creating camp.<br>
<br>
We recommend the following travel options:<br>
<ul><li>Carpooling, yay! We'll set up a camper email list for carpool coordination and other pre-camp communication.</li><li>Driving on I-5 to camp (near Glendale, Oregon). We will send more directions and details in a later email.</li><li>Flying into Medford airport--we will help arrange rides to camp.</li><li>Greyhound to Grants Pass--we will help arrange rides to camp.</li></ul><br>
<br>
<strong>Arrivals</strong><br>
Onsite registration opens Friday, June 28th at 2 pm. The setup team needs time to prepare for your arrival so NO arrivals before 2 PM, please!<br>
<br>
<strong>Safe Container</strong><br>
In service to deeper intimacy and building a strong sense of community and safety for all, it's essential that everyone attending camp be present by Saturday morning (June 29th) at 9 AM <em>at the absolute latest</em>.<br>
<br>
We STRONGLY suggest attending the Friday evening (June 28th) connection exercises, as they are meant to begin the foundation of the camp container and really facilitate each camper's connection with the group and one another.<br>
<br>
<strong>RVs</strong><br>
If you are planning to camp in your RV or camper, please notify the registration team ASAP with its size (length &amp; width) at <a href="mailto:registrar@nfnc.org" target="_blank">registrar@nfnc.org</a>. There are limited spaces and no services. We're still negotiating with Mountain Grove about the additional daily fee for RVs and campers, and we will let you know as soon as a decision is reached.<br>
