Mission(Vision) Statement Collection

Based upon what I recognized as a trend, I submit the following four statements as being acceptable concepts to be used in building a nifty, thrifty, custom-designed Vision Statement according to need.

VERSION #1

We, the New Culture Township Organizing Committee, are committed to establishing a town supportive of individual autonomy, interpersonal relationships, interdependence, and personal service as a model for cooperative living within a community designed to promote a peaceful future. Our town will be free of violence and wherever possible, strive to eliminate fear in the fulfillment of positive, life-affirming human potential. We envision our town as being: ecologically self-sustaining; economically self-supporting; supportive of human uniqueness; and tolerant of philosophy, spirituality and sexuality. This town will promote cultural and environmental change by being a center for the support and creation and dissemination of new paradigms in interpersonal relationships, social interaction, ecological stewardship, environmental design, income production, and the creation of business opportunities for the benefit of all.

Our town will develop positive and life-affirming human potential as its way of life. We envision our town as being: ecologically self-sustaining; economically self-supporting; supportive of human uniqueness; and tolerant of philosophy, spirituality and sexuality. Our town will model and promote positive paradigms in how people can joyfully live on our fragile planet.

VERSION #3

The New Culture Township Organizing Committee is committed to establishing a town based on individual autonomy, cooperation, respect, support and mutual trust. The goal of the town is to be a model of cooperative living through peaceful, yet dynamic and exciting ways. A community learning through education, experience and communication. Our plan to accomplish this is by pro-actively producing, promoting and participating in workshops, seminars and lectures. The emphasis of these events will be the continuously cooperative instruction of communication that will be more motivated by love than fear and cooperation favored over competition.

We warmly welcome, invite and celebrate a process of co-learning with people of all ages, races, economic and cultural backgrounds. A town supportive of human uniqueness, accepting and learning from different philosophical ideas, spiritual practices and sexual lifestyles. Our community will promote qualitative, progressive, cultural, and environmental change. We will be a center for the support and creation of new paradigms in interpersonal realtionships and social interaction. Our way of doing this encompasses both serious and playful "excercises" and techniques. Also, we want to have fun...!

As far as the town's overall residential health is concerned, we believe that the best approach is a co-supportive relationship between aleopathy and homeothapy practices. In other words, treating the symptons as well as healing the cause, both psychologically and physically, guided by skilled practioners.

We envision our town as being ecologically self sustaining and economically self supporting. Ecological stewardship and conscienscious environmental design will be an important part of our everyday awareness and livestyle. Opportunities for the implementation of individual and group ideas will be provided and supported, for the benefit of all.

and...VERSION #4

The Foundation for Cultural Evolution seeks to establish an intentional community devoted to the creation of an inspirational environment, supportive of individual autonomy and interdependent cooperation, with the ultimate aim of aesthetogenesis. This community will serve as a working laboratory for ongoing life research, by developing new paradigms of social interaction, ecological stewardship, economic sustenance, and environmental design. New models of interpersonal relationships will be practiced to produce a psychological and social environment for overcoming fear and eliminating open and hidden violence. Ethical variations in culture, tradition, lifestyle, and religion will be celebrated and supported; and individual distinctions of identity or choice will be recognized and honored with equal respect. Networking, documentation, and other forms of information exchange will be regularly employed to extend the benefits of the knowledge gained to the world at large.
